In Position (IP)
In position means acting after your opponent, giving you strategic advantage.
Full explanation
In position means acting after your opponent, giving you strategic advantage.
Explanation. The phrase marks your seat relative to turn order: being “in position” gives information before you act. It allows control of pot size and bluff timing. Intermediate players understand that IP allows more flexibility in planning bets, folds, and value lines throughout a hand.
