Full explanation
“Tiger” is slang for pocket Jacks (J‑J).
Explanation. Inspired by “T‑J” initials or tiger-like strength with Jacks, this nickname references pocket Jacks. Though strong, pocket Jacks can be vulnerable. Using terms like Tiger adds color during hand talk when players hold mid-strength pair aiming for strong showdown value.
