About

Hi, I’m Alex. Poker Glossary is mostly a one-person project, built around a resource I’ve wanted to use myself.

I’ve worked with poker websites and online poker since 2003. Even after all those years, I still come across terms that make me pause. So I’m an active user of this glossary, too.

I’m glad I can finally bring my own vision of a poker glossary to life: quick to browse, easy to understand, and useful at different levels of experience. Simple explanations help you get started; deeper explanations explore how a term is used in actual play. Interactive hands make the ideas easier to see.

I’m continually improving the site. If something is unclear, incorrect, or missing, please write to [email protected]. Your feedback helps me make it more useful.
