Full explanation
A bounty is a prize awarded for eliminating a specific player in a tournament.
Explanation. In bounty tournaments, each player carries a bounty on their head; when you knock someone out, you collect their bounty as a cash prize or chip bonus. The term originates from “bounty hunters” being paid per capture. Bounty events often incentivize aggressive play on shorter stacks around opponents with known bounties.
