Full explanation
Door card is the first exposed up‑card in stud poker.
Explanation. In stud games, the first card dealt face‑up to each player is the “door card.” This card sets the visible starter and determines bring‑in duties. The name reflects its role—the first visible card (“doorway”) into a player’s holdings. It influences betting and helps others build opposing ranges based on visible strength.
