Stranger

Full explanation

“Stranger” is slang for a completely untested or unknown player at the table.

Explanation. Facing a stranger—someone you know nothing about—requires conservative baseline play until reads develop. They may be strong or weak; treat unknown players with caution. Recognizing strangers helps guide early hand selection and controlled aggression until behavior is observed.
