A weak kicker is the side card on top pair that is dominated by stronger kickers.
Full explanation
A weak kicker is the side card on top pair that is dominated by stronger kickers.
Explanation. Holding top pair with a low kicker—e.g. K‑6 on K‑Q‑4—means opponents with K‑J or K‑Q dominate. Weak kickers lose more often at showdown. Recognizing weak-kicker situations informs sizing decisions and folding lines when aggression indicates stronger hands.
